New CD out

New CD 'Birds of Paradise' has been released. Birds of Paradise is Simply English’s fourth album, and the first for four years. In that time there have been a number of changes: first, the original duo became a trio, then there was a change in personnel, which in turn meant a change in instrumental combinations, rearrangements of our older repertoire and the creation of new numbers. Birds of Paradise provides seventeen new songs, some of them several hundreds of years old, others the products of more recent times, from unaccompanied solo and part-singing to instrumental, from "favourites" among English singers to more obscure pieces.
